It’s just important for me to say that the Bullet Strat isn’t for everyone—especially if you care a lot about your guitar’s build quality like I do. At first glance, the two look almost identical. The design elements are exactly the same. The differences come in the materials and components. That means it features the exact same design as the classic Stratocaster, although Squier cuts some corners on building materials, tonewoods, and finishes.

They come in many classic colours as well as some limited edition ones, and usually with a maple or laurel fingerboard. The Squier Stratocaster is no longer only a guitar for beginners. It is now a serious choice for musicians the world over. Why Choose a Squier Stratocaster? The Squier Bullet is the cheapest series across the Squier and Fender brands. It’s a very common lineup for students and kids as it’s designed to be someone’s first guitar. Even many gigging musicians rely on Squier, if they don’t make enough money to afford a Fender. In many cases they can afford one, but they’ve been happy with a Squier all along, so they never make the change. While it has some limitations regarding buzz noises and tone, it’s going to be really difficult to beat the price of this guitar, unless it’s for my personal favorite, the Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar (however this guitar still sells for a higher price and its harder to play). In the end, I could say Squier guitars and basses are “licensed copy” of Fender instruments. They are cheaper and, if you look right, you can find some that perform just like a Fender guitar. Both the tuners and the tremolo bridge comes in chrome and performs very well, so the hardware is definitely a plus. Squier was founded in 1982, making 2022 its 40th anniversary. As a result, Squier is celebrating with a range of high-spec models finished in special colours and featuring anodised scratchplates. They're considered to be some of the best Squier guitars ever made - a fitting compliment for a company who's celebrating a big milestone in such style - but there's some real weight behind that claim. For a guitar that has been around for a while, Squier Bullet has been categorized in many ways, including its tone quality. For the most part, the guitar works great. It’s not the cleanest tone in the world, nor does it have the most range, but it works. In its price range, this Squier offers one of the most well-rounded sonic experiences you can find. Guitar Fella The overall build of this Bullet Strat was fine. No loose pieces or rattling bolts or any obvious construction flaws. A few rough or uneven frets, but nothing major. Squier represents the affordable side of the Fender brand. Producing officially-licensed Fender designs, Squier guitars are made to the exact same measurements as their parent company’s models. And ultimately, Squier instruments offer that genuine Fender feel and tone for just a fraction of the price. Squier Bullet Series Stratocasters Fender marketed two models, initially manufacture was set up offshore in Korea, but due to technical issues, such as unacceptable high actions, the guitars were recalled to the U.S.A for manufacture at the Fullerton plant. Bullet Strat is the most affordable version of the Strat’s that Fender produces with their Squier brand. So The Bullet Strats are the lowest in quality too, but this doesn’t mean that they are bad.
