About this deal

In fact, final claimed that they want to exceed the performance of the E3000, and in practice, I think final has achieved it. The ZE3000 sounds balanced but much more expansive and airier than the E3000 on my laptop and phones, though wired earphones may still have more potential to scale up with stronger outputs. Does it put the ZE3000 at a disadvantage? Perhaps, but these true wireless earphones are less about the features and more about the sound, and on that front they’re a formidable effort. Design The ZE3000 features nicely rounded edges on the inside face of the shells, but the outside has that characteristic Final angular design, similar to the B1 and A8000.

These True Wireless Earbuds are designed to present how audio tech, typically associated with listening to music, can be used for two-way communications. Also similar to the EVA2020 and like many TWS earphones the ZE3000 isn’t very strong with its mic, possibly due to the mic design that points outwards. It works pretty well indoors but if talking on transport you may need to speak louder, or else the listener on the other side of the phone may not hear clearly. Furthermore, Final eartips are very nicely designed, providing a high level of sound isolation, so ambient noise with ZE3000 was never a problem. The ZE3000 offers a level of sound fidelity that’s rarely heard on most Bluetooth products, providing Final Audio Design (typically referred to as simply “Final Audio” or even more simply as “Final”) is a bit of a weird brand in the context of the current IEM market. I’d consider them as your standard-fare “quirky Japanese company” making some oddball IEMs, but they’re also pretty much the only Japanese brand that have managed to retain some form of relevancy in the modern mainstream-ish market. This is Final Audio so I was very well expecting the A4000 to be just mildly different from the A3000, as is the case with the E-series of IEMs.

While the tone remains exceptionally balanced as it goes into the center of the frequency spectrum, it leans into its high mids more than its lower mids. I wouldn’t call the low mids scooped; it’s more like they stay neutral as the high mids add some crunch to snares and emphasize the fry in vocals a little more than they do the fundamental. I do think a little more warmth in the low mid area could have been afforded since it’s not like it would be competing with an overly boosted bass response. That is mostly a speculative critique; while the ze2000 isn’t what I would call warm, it’s not sterile or empty either, and ultimately I was very pleased with its handling of the middle frequencies. Considering final’s reputation for audio quality (and the price) I had big expectations for the ZE3000. I was not disappointed. The final ZE3000 sounds fantastic. It has a clean, pristine and spacious sound that’s among the best I’ve heard in this price range. There are areas where other true wireless earphones have the edge, but when compared to the Beats Studio Buds and Sennheiser CX Plus, neither pair achieves the overall tonal balance of the ZE3000. The Sennheiser carry a bigger, weighty bass performance along with a soundstage that’s presented in bigger and wider terms, but the Final are clearer in how they paint music, more revealing in the detail and nuance in Lianne La Havas’ Bittersweet.

Video and gaming performance is excellent as well. The Bluetooth 5.2 has very little latency meaning there are no sync issues when watching videos or YouTube and almost imperceptible delay when playing fast-paced games. Sound When it comes to battery life, the ZE3000 can hold a maximum of 35 hours charge in the earbuds and charging case. A single charge of the earbuds delivers a very useful seven hours of playtime. The case takes a couple of hours to charge and can be topped up using a wireless Qi charging mat or a USB-C cable. Now, it is well known that it is really difficult to make an audiophile TWS model; a company has to overcome a number of obstacles that mainly have to do with putting delicate electronics in an earbud housing and making sure that these electronics do not interfere with the earbud driver. On the other hand, Final engineers are known for challenging the impossible! Were they successful in this case? Let’s find out! This not only gives them a cool appearance, but also makes it easier for one’s hands to maintain a good grip on the IEMs when inserting them, which becomes especially helpful when you recall that there are no wires on this product to help you avoid dropping them The ZE3000 true wireless earbuds use a Qualcomm chipset and support Adaptive aptX HD and AAC audio ...
