About this deal

The charm of mountains, glens, sweeping heather and uncrowded beaches makes Scotland one for any traveller's list. From breathtaking scenery to buzzing cities, you're spoilt for choice at one of these motorhome parks in Scotland. Take in the incredible views from Britain's tallest peak, Ben Nevis, explore the history at Edinburgh Castle or soak up the Highlands scenery on a stroll around Loch Lomond. It also had to be big enough to accommodate myself, Mr Adventures Around Scotland and our lurcher who likes to stretch out and take up as much room as possible when she sleeps!

Highlights include sea eagles and whales from the Isle of Mull, ospreys around Loch Garten, puffins on the Isle of May and bottle nosed dolphins in the Moray Firth. As it is pretty much impossible to keep midges out your tent as you go in and out, it is best to stay indoors once you're settled or even better, avoid midge hot spots in the first place. We offer grass and hardstand pitches together with all the services required for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Quirky sculptures and artwork, spotless communal areas, new individual shower rooms, thoughtful extras like frozen meals and a pathway to the beach are just some of the reasons why this place deserves all those 5 star comments. Across the length and breadth of Scotland there are some really fantastic camping parks in stunning locations, from beachside crofts to wooded areas lined with ancient pines. These actions are not only harmful to nature and the landscape, they risk our outdoor privileges being revoked or restricted which has already happened in parts of Loch Lomond. As part of Scotland's access legislation, the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, you have a right of responsible access to most land and inland water and are allowed to camp on most unenclosed land. If you make it to the Lowlands and Highlands in a camper van, you will not only be rewarded with campsites in the middle of wildly romantic mountain landscapes, but also with a journey through Scotland's raw and mythical history. Sitting on a dramatic and rocky shore, the site’s adjacent beach is the perfect place to gather as night begins to fall, with cameras and telescopes at the ready, for a spot of stargazing. In the north-west Highlands of Scotland, this site sits in a valley between two moorland hills, running the length of a golden sand beach. Edinburgh is arguably the prettier of the two cities and hosts a number of festivals, including the world famous Edinburgh Festival.
