About this deal

He keeps it in his garage and can run it from outside and through a hole in his garage floor into his hot air ducting system.

I certainly would not mount a 5Kw on one of those - they flex too much and will work harden and fracture. The inlet and outlet pipes are bigger than the 2kw but I still managed to fit the inlet in the drivers footwell and the outlet through the floor behind the drivers seat. You are probably aware but the 12 volt supply to the heater should come directly from it and not be linked the hab electrics. Not only does this powerful heater run on very low diesel consumption, but it also comes equipped with a silencer, keeping noise levels to a minimum. Improper placement, poor welds, and other installation mistakes can cause abnormal works from your air heater. The components that are sent with the unit are always a decent quality, the fuel pumps always smell like diesel when they arrive meaning they have all been tested before packing, they come with the rigid white 2mm fuel line and there are always extra screws and bolts etc in the box so you don't run out.

That being said if you have a very well insulated LWB van with a 5KW it will get hot quickly too and if you have a uninsulated WMB van with lots of windows a 2KW might struggle to keep your van warm or take ages to get to a decent temp. The units above this section are the correct type of unit for van installs as the exhaust manifold goes through your van floor underneath your vehicle and is sealed up so no fumes can get in, for more info on this please check out our fitting guide at the bottom of the post. The new 5kw webasto Evo top is a cracking little heater and is more than sufficient for a one man system I've attached a couple of photos to show the heat. Designed to bring warmth and comfort to any adventure, this heater includes a convenient remote control for easy operation. The diesel air heater can be used for truck, boat, car trailer, motorhomes, touring car, campervans, caravans and all kinds of other diesel vehicles.Honestly spruce I have it recirculating into the tank between jobs and once my tank has dropped level a bit I can put my hand in and feel where the water is dropping through. There is a **** inside and it's only turned up about half way on the heat setting too so more to give.

Adjustable and various duct lengths allow for fluid and ergonomic layouts without having to compromise. After the heater is installed for the first time, it should be turned on several times to completely remove the air and remaining diesel oil in the fuel supply system, so that the fuel line is filled with fuel to ensure that the machine does not get stuck. Espar / Eberspacher units with the High-altitude kit and Webasto devices with manual rheostat adjustments can even function at higher altitudes than 3 thousand meters or 10 thousand feet above sea level. The all in one heater units have been adapted from the units that are designed to be built into vans so they are portable and can be used to heat different things like garages, sheds, tents etc and that is what they are perfect for. You might have noticed that the title of the post has not changed much since our last post tried and tested diesel heaters 2.You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. One thing I would always recommend around any fuel burning appliances is a carbon monoxide alarm just to be on the safe side. Like I say Im really chuffed with it so far, for the money its spot on but time will tell if there are any issues.
