About this deal

So someone who owns and used/still uses this mouse especially in Windows environment could you enlighten me please?

A gaming-grade optical sensor: Accurately tracks slow or fast movements on a wide variety of surfaces. The stiff cable may be an annoyance for some, especially for those playing at a very low CPI, which requires bigger hand movements. It also suits left-handed people, I know, I'm one, so I can recommend this product - and - Logitech are a well established company anyway.Assign a unique color and identity to each user profile with up to seven color variations to know what settings are active during game play. Reassign any game command or multi-command macro to any one of nine programmable buttons with Logitech G HUB. Please do not use the `Remember me` option if using a computer with public access or that is used by more than one person.

To avoid constantly launching bloatware 'Logitech Gaming Software', I simply saved the G-Key mappings to the mouse's memory once using that software and never had to launch it again. Rubber quality on the side is good overall - for 2-3 years of daily use; after that point the grooves start disappearing and become smooth instead of providing friction to your thumb and little finger.Ambidextrous Design: Versatile design in a compact shape, this mouse is built for comfort and durability. I'm really impressed by the G300s and am sure it'll be a popular choice among thrifty gamers across the globe. However, the G300s is still pretty comfortable and features a symmetrical build, so that it would also suit lefties.
