I've tried a good number of recipes and, following the instructions, everything's turned out perfectly and has been very tasty! I greatly appreciated the use of one-bowl recipes and learning apricot jam is one of her secret ingredients, it shows up in many recipes and how she uses it applied to warm cakes before frosting is genius. In many ways British baking is very similar to our own, particularly if you were raised in the Virginia Tidewater or most anywhere in the Carolinas.
