Constructed from plastic, the main part of the pod is clear, which makes it easy to see when you need to top up your e-liquid. This device has a screen that is for displaying the light show and for visual display of one of the 3 voltage options, I’ll cover the lights and the operation later in this review. The color changing battery display (1 press of the control button) gave a really good indication of the remaining battery status. It was nice to see that once the display shows red, you still have plenty of vaping time left.
The Galex Nano features a 3-level adjustable output. To adjust the wattage, press the fire button three times consecutively. Each press will cycle through the available output levels: high (4.2V), middle (3.5V), and low (3.3V). Select your desired wattage level by pressing the fire button when your preferred output is displayed.Clean the Coil (Optional): If you plan to reuse the coil, it's essential to clean it regularly to maintain its performance. Soak the coil in a cup of warm water for approximately 15 minutes to loosen any residue. Gently brush the coil with a soft toothbrush to remove any remaining debris. Rinse it under running water and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it in the pod. On one of the edges of the device, you will see the metal action (fire) button and above this is a tiny airflow hole. The LED lighting, which I touched on a little in the design section, is pretty neat. By default, it lights up in a multicolor fashion each time that you take a draw, but you can change it to breathe through solid colors, or even turn the light off completely if it’s not to your liking. To cycle through the different lighting modes, press the fire button twice. You can also press and hold the fire button to turn off the lighting completely.

The airflow is fixed and there is not even the option to rotate the pod, I dreaded this, as usual, that means a looser airflow, but that’s not the case on the Galex Nano thankfully. It gave a proper MTL draw, not super tight but tight enough to satisfy my fussy needs. The 0.8ohm coil gave a slightly looser draw if you require that. At the same time, Freemax released two ‘galactic-themed’ pods that are out of this world - the Galex Nano and the Galex.
