It usually ends up paying for itself if you get it in the first half of your run, so it's usually a good buy, but there may be better options available.

Gives energy, costs 0, and replaces itself with more than 1 card. Makes setup easier which is the hardest part of any encounter for The Silent. I'll often find myself duplicating it if given the opportunity, and you really can't go wrong with taking multiple if you see them. Medium-High priority upgrade.
